How long does Invisalign last?
There are two parts to “how long Invisalign lasts”. Your active treatment and then keeping your results.
Most Invisalign treatments last around 6–18 months, depending on the complexity of your case and how consistently you wear your aligners. Simple spacing or mild crowding can sometimes be completed faster, while more involved bite corrections may take longer.
After you finish active Invisalign, you’ll need retainers to keep your teeth in their new positions, because teeth naturally try to drift back over time. Typically, you’ll wear retainers full‑time at first, then nights only, and often at least several nights a week long‑term to protect your new smile.
