Your custom treatment plan. From Whitening to Veneers and Implants
Boost your self-esteem.
Improve your oral health.
If you hate how your teeth look in photos or find yourself hiding your smile, a bespoke Smile Makeover can help you finally get the confident, attractive smile you have in mind. Instead of one “off‑the‑shelf” treatment, we combine carefully chosen cosmetic and restorative options into a personalised plan built around your goals, timescale and budget.
Everything starts with a comprehensive one‑hour Smile Makeover examination, where we listen to what you want to change, assess your teeth, gums, bite and facial proportions, and take any X‑rays or digital scans needed. We will show you what is realistically possible, explain different options in plain language, and create a step‑by‑step treatment roadmap so you know exactly what will happen and when.
You stay in control throughout, and there is never any pressure to commit to more than you feel comfortable with. Many smile makeovers can be phased over time, starting with high‑impact improvements such as whitening and bonding, then adding veneers, crowns, implants or gum reshaping as needed.
Located just off Mutley Plain with nearby free parking, our Plymouth clinic is easy to reach from across Devon and Cornwall.

Smile Makeovers FAQ
What exactly is a smile makeover, and what treatments are included?
A smile makeover is a completely bespoke treatment plan designed to dramatically improve the health, function, and aesthetics of your teeth.
Because no two smiles are the same, your makeover at our Plymouth clinic may combine several cosmetic and restorative treatments.
Depending on your goals, this could include Invisalign clear braces, professional Philips Zoom teeth whitening, composite bonding, state-of-the-art CEREC porcelain veneers, or dental implants to replace missing teeth.
Will my new smile look natural, or will it be obvious I have had work done?
You are entirely in control of the final aesthetic. Whether you want a dazzling, bright Hollywood smile or a highly subtle, natural-looking restoration that simply turns back the clock, we design your treatments to match your vision.
Dr Bronkhorst will meticulously colour-match any composite resin or ceramic to complement your skin tone and facial features, ensuring your new smile looks beautifully authentic.
How long does a full smile transformation take to complete?
The timeline depends entirely on the treatments included in your bespoke plan. If your makeover consists of professional teeth whitening and single-visit composite bonding or CEREC porcelain veneers, we can often transform your smile in just one or two appointments.
If your plan includes Invisalign orthodontics or dental implants, the process will naturally take several months.
During your initial consultation, we will map out a clear, precise timeline for your journey.
Can I see what my new teeth will look like before I commit to treatment?
Absolutely. We take the guesswork out of cosmetic dentistry. Before any physical work begins, we use our advanced iTero Element® 5D Imaging System to take highly detailed, comfortable 3D digital impressions of your mouth.
We can then use digital smile design software to show you an interactive simulation of how your new smile will look.
How long do smile makeovers last?
A smile makeover is a combination of treatments, so its longevity depends on which procedures you have and how well you care for your teeth.
Porcelain veneers and crowns commonly last around 10–15 years or more, while composite bonding tends to last 3–10 years and will usually need more frequent touch‑ups. Teeth whitening results often need refreshing every 1–2 years, and orthodontic changes are maintained long term with retainers.
Good oral hygiene, regular check‑ups and avoiding habits like grinding or biting hard objects are key to keeping your new smile looking its best!
Is it painful getting a smile makeover?
Modern smile makeovers are designed to be as comfortable as possible. Most procedures, such as veneers, crowns and bonding, are carried out under local anaesthetic, so you should feel little to no pain during treatment.
You may experience mild soreness or sensitivity for a few days afterwards, which is usually manageable with simple painkillers. Less invasive elements, like whitening, minor contouring or aligners, typically involve very low levels of discomfort.
Do you have to file down all my natural teeth for a smile makeover?
Not at all. We champion a minimally invasive approach to cosmetic dentistry. Modern techniques allow us to preserve as much of your natural tooth structure as possible.
For instance, our advanced composite bonding requires absolutely no drilling into your natural enamel, and our precision-milled CEREC veneers require only minimal preparation compared to older, traditional techniques.
Who will be carrying out my smile makeover?
Your transformation will be meticulously handled by our Principal Dentist, Dr Lenore Bronkhorst.
Having just celebrated 40 years in dentistry, Dr Bronkhorst is an internationally trained Cosmetic Dentist with advanced expertise in placing dental implants, administering Invisalign, and crafting flawless ceramic restorations.
You can trust that you are receiving world-class cosmetic care right here in Devon.
