Which teeth are hardest to move with Invisalign?
Invisalign can move most teeth effectively, but some are more challenging and may take longer or need extra features like attachments and elastics.
Molars, with their large roots and position at the back of the mouth, are often harder to move bodily with clear aligners, and impacted wisdom teeth usually can’t be repositioned with Invisalign alone. Canines can also be demanding because they have long roots and a key role in guiding your bite, so they often require very precise control.
Teeth needing big rotations, tipping or complex root movements are inherently less predictable with aligners than with braces and may need more trays or auxiliary techniques.
