What happens during a new patient cosmetic consultation?
Your first visit is a comprehensive one-hour examination dedicated entirely to your oral health and aesthetic goals. We thoroughly assess your teeth, gums, and bite function.
We utilise a state-of-the-art 3D scanning machine to take high-resolution images and X-rays of your mouth. Dr Bronkhorst will then carefully listen to what you want to achieve and guide you through the best available treatment options to transform your smile.
Where is your dental clinic located, and is parking available?
You will find our state-of-the-art practice at 7 Lockyer Road, just a stone’s throw from Mutley Plain in Plymouth (PL3 4RL). We are conveniently positioned for patients travelling from across Britain’s Ocean City, including Derriford, Plympton, and Stoke Village.
There is convenient on-street parking right outside our practice (permit-only between 3:00 pm and 4:00 pm). Alternatively, the Mutley Barracks and Napier Terrace car parks are only 100 metres away, both offering two hours of free parking.
I am terrified of the dentist. Can you help nervous patients?
Absolutely. We understand that dental anxiety prevents many people from seeking the care they need. Our Mutley Plain clinic is designed to be a deeply calming, welcoming, and entirely judgement-free environment.
Our Principal Dentist, Dr Lenore Bronkhorst, has a special interest in treating nervous patients and works with an incredibly gentle touch. We also offer highly effective IV dental sedation to ensure you remain completely relaxed and comfortable throughout any procedure.
Do you offer same-day dental crowns and veneers?
Yes, we are one of the few clinics in the South West to offer revolutionary CEREC single-visit dentistry.
This cutting-edge in-house technology allows us to design, precision-mill, and perfectly fit your permanent porcelain veneers, crowns, or inlays in just one appointment.
This means no temporary restorations and no waiting weeks for a dental laboratory to create your new teeth.
Do you provide emergency dental appointments?
Yes, if you are experiencing a severe toothache, facial swelling, or have suffered dental trauma such as a chipped tooth, broken veneer, or lost dental crown, we are here to help.
We offer prompt, same-day emergency dental appointments to quickly diagnose the problem, relieve your pain, and restore your smile. You do not need to be a registered patient to access our emergency care.

From Manadon roundabout: Take Mannamead Rd (B3250) to Mutley. Go around The Hyde Park Inn onto Wilderness Rd and then Lockyer Road.
From Drake Circus in the city centre: Go up North Hill (B3250) and across Mutley Plain into Wilderness Rd and then Lockyer Road.
From Laira Bridge: Continue onto Embankment Rd. At Cattedown roundabout, take the 4th exit onto Tothill Rd/B3238. Then continue straight onto Mutley Plain/B3250, into Wilderness Rd, and then onto Lockyer Road.
If using public transport, there are several bus stops across Mutley Plain, serving routes into and out of Plymouth city centre.
There is on-street parking available outside our premises Mon–Fri except between 3–4pm when it’s permit-only.
